| When ordering
chair covers, you will need to specify the basic type
of chair that you have: Banquet stacking, metal folding
(round or square back), Chiavari style (also referred
to as Kane back), or wooden folding chair. It is a good
idea to provide the chair cover supplier with a photo
of chair if possible, to assure accurate pricing.
Whether in person or by picture, know what the price
quote includes completely, get all the details. It’s
amazing when brides don’t comparison-shopping,
based on the amount of monies they could have saved.
Just like choosing roses over carnations, you want to
get your monies worth. Sometime spending a little more
for a better product will produce better benefits.
The chair covers should be washed and pressed after
each event. In most cases, chair covers that are offered
at a very low rate are usually being re-used throughout
the weekend, (Sunday brides beware). There are many
styles to choose from! Look for high quality, professionally
sewn covers that are not baggy or look like a potato
sack. Make sure the bottom is hemmed for that polished
look.
Stay focus
on the room decor as a whole, not just one subject or
color. Especially for wedding, keeping the accessories
simple, (such as the bows on the back of the chair and
the necessary linen) keeping it simple will add to the
room. Sometimes adding too much color takes away from
the true elegance of the event.
